CASS 2021 FNMI GATHERING WITNESS SHARING
Roots of Resilience Education Foundation was honoured to be invited to witness the 2021 CASS First Nations, Métis and Inuit Gathering. We also had the incredible opportunity to facilitate a youth panel at the gathering where we heard from three courageous, strong and inspiring Indigenous students who shared their calls to action for educators in this country.
CLOSER TO HOME
Roots of Resilience Education Foundation, sponsored by the Edmonton Community Foundation, is honoured to announce an important learning opportunity for foster parents and others supporting Indigenous children in care.

Closer to Home is a four-part learning opportunity that teaches Indigenous history, ceremony + ways of being, contemporary realities, and understanding culture + protocol. Learning resources will also be available to enhance and support further learning.

This is being offered in a webinar setting, and requires a four month commitment with sessions occurring once a month for approximately 90 minutes each. If you are interested in signing up for this opportunity, email us at info@rootsofresilience.net
